This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps short technical logs of requests (such as IP addresses) to keep the service secure.

When you email me

I keep your name, email address and what you tell me so I can reply and, if you hire me, do the work. I use it for nothing else, and I never sell it.

During an audit

Client data stays on a dedicated, encrypted audit laptop. I delete working copies when the job ends, apart from the report and the records UK tax law asks me to keep for six years. Each engagement has its own written terms.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask me to correct or delete it. Email contact@scaley.consulting. If you are unhappy with my answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
